TIME LINE FOR GTU SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS 2013
By January 15: GTU Web site updated
By March 1: Announcement through: GTU Regional Councillors, AAG Chairs distribution list, and appropriate professional newsletters
By June 1: Applications due to GTU First Vice-President
By June 10: Names of applicants emailed to Executive Secretary for confirmation as GTU members
By June 15: Applications begin circulating to members of the GTU Scholarship Committee
By July 15: First Vice-President uses committee members’ rankings to name recipients of the scholarship; transcripts/confirmation of continued student status requested of recipients
By August 15: Names of GTU Scholarship recipients emailed to Executive Committee and official emails/letters sent to recipients
By September 15: Check sent to recipients by GTU Comptroller
By Fall Committee Meeting: Official report submitted to Executive Committee. Announcement made by GTU President at NCGE Awards Ceremony
