Petition for Charter

To petition for a Gamma Theta Upsilon chapter at your institution, please complete the information below to submit online.

This petition MUST be completed by the faculty member who will be the chapter sponsor (or by the department chair) and NOT by a student.

As of June 1, 2009, the fee to establish a new charter is $100 minimum. For large charter classes the fee may be higher, based on actual cost.

Please note that we must receive a letter of support from the geography department chair or appropriate administrator, in addition to the online submission.
